VALLEJO, Calif. – One week after collecting the program's eighth Harbor Cup title, Cal Maritime will return to Southern California to compete in the Pacific Coast Collegiate Sailing Conference South Designate, hosted by USC. This two-day event will take place at the US Sailing Center in Long Beach, California.

Participating PCCSC schools — Arizona State, Cal, Cal Poly, Cal Maritime, Cal State Channel Islands, Cal State Monterey Bay, Hawai'i, Long Beach State, San Diego State, Santa Clara, Stanford, UC Davis, UC Irvine, UCLA, UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, and USC — will compete in this two-division regatta; all races from both days will comprise each team's score.

If the fleet is split, one co-ed varsity boat and one women's boat per school can compete in the Varsity division. There is no limit to the number of JV teams per school.

This regatta will use Club/Collegiate Flying Juniors.

The PCCSC South Designate marks the Keelhaulers' second visit to the US Sailing Center this season as they finished sixth in the Rose Bowl Regatta, also hosted by USC, in the team's inaugural competition of the 2022 calendar year.
