Sailing heads to Hawai’i for PCCSC Coed Dinghy Championship

VALLEJO, Calif. – Following an outstanding performance last weekend at the Rainier Cup, an event that ended with the Keelhaulers winning the regatta's championship for the second year in a row, Cal Maritime will take that momentum with it to the islands for the team's season finale, the Pacific Coast Collegiate Sailing Conference Coed Dinghy Championship.
This two-day event, hosted by Hawai'i, wll take place at Ke'ehi Lagoon in Honolulu.
Race officials will use a standard three-minute starts, races will take place in two divisions with a full round robin format used within each group. First start will take place at 1:15 p.m. PT/10:15 a.m. HT on Saturday and 1 p.m. PT/10 a.m. on Sunday; please note the three-hour time difference between Hawai'i and Pacific time zones.
In addition to the host institution and the Keelhaulers, Arizona State, Cal, Cal Poly, Stanford, UC Irvine,UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, UCLA, USC, Washington and Western Washington will head to the islands for this year's dinghy championship.
