Louttit, Khaleeli and Myers earn Academic All-America distinction

VALLEJO, Calif. – Three members from Cal Maritime's sailing program earned Academic All-American honors when the Intercollegiate Collegiate Sailing Association announced its end-of-season honor roll for the 2023-24 campaign.

Ben Louttit and Clay Myers received All-American distinction for the second time in as many seasons; Cyrus Khaleeli earned this national honor for the first time in his collegiate career.

The ICSA recognized this trio because each Keelhauler possessed a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher, once the '23-'24 season concluded, and competed in a minimum of seven regattas throughout the year.

Offshore student-athletes Django Knafo-Tomlinson and Cooper Smith met the ICSA's GPA requirement, but did not compete in enough regattas since they were members of the big boat crew only and did not participate in a dinghy event.
