Women's Basketball starts recruiting early with signing

Kaili Kraus of Oxnard, Calif. officially signs with Cal Maritime. Kraus signed on January 27 accompanied from her friends, family and her coach from Hueneme High School, Jerry Parker.

Kraus is finishing up her senior season at Hueneme High School in Oxnard, where the five-foot-six- guard was the Vikings leader in steals in her junior and senior seasons, pickpocketing 89 steals as a senior.

The Lady Keelhaulers will get an immediate impact player on both sides of the ball. Kraus was third on her team in her senior season putting up 11.3 points per game and first in steals per game with 3.4.

She was a four year Varsity player where she helped bring the Hueneme High School Vikings their first championship title in school history back in 2017-2018.

Kraus finishes her high school career with numbers of 8.7 points per game, 2.1 rebounds per game, 1.7 assists per game and 2.5 steals per game. Kraus comes in as a shooting guard and will join Elizabeth Martinez, Vicky Sims, and Kameron Taylor as the guards for now for the Lady Keelhaulers heading into next season.
