ROCKLIN, Calif. – By hitting 4 of 9 shots against Oregon Tech in Saturday's finale at the Bill Holtz Warrior Classic, Alicia Porter led Cal Maritime in scoring and a trio of Keelhaulers in Kaylee Berry, Alina Daffon and Dominique White each collected four boards and were collectively responsible for more than half of their team's rebound total.
Unfortunately for the visitors from Vallejo, the Owls jumped out to an early first-quarter lead and maintained that cushion for the rest of the game to record a 77-32 victory.
The Keelhaulers will return home from Rocklin and enter their November 10 home opener against Menlo at 0-2 while Oregon Tech will continue its season at 2-0.
