Porter's double-double highlights weekend finale at Saint Katherine

SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Alicia Porter finished with a double-double comprised of a team-high 13 points and 11 rebounds, Kai Kraus scored 11 points and Mele Tuimaunei matched her teammate's team-high rebound total by collecting another 11 in Saturday morning's non-conference contest at USK Sports Complex in San Marcos, California.

Host Saint Katherine outscored Cal Maritime by eight points in the first quarter, and maintained that lead throughout the rest of the game as the Keelhaulers lost to the Firebirds, 89-58.

With this result, Cal Maritime wraps-up its weekend in San Diego with a 0-5 overall record with Saint Katherine continuing its season at 6-2. 

The Keelhaulers' three-game road swing will conclude with Friday's 7 p.m. game at UC Santa Cruz. Once they return home from that matchup against the Banana Slugs, the team will not compete in another game until December 11 when Oregon Tech visits PEAC Main Gym.
