MERCED, Calif. – Alicia Porter scored a game-high 26 points and posted a team-high 11 rebounds when Cal Maritime visited the Joseph Edward Gallo Recreation & Wellness Center for Saturday's Cal Pac Conference road game.
Anika Carey also finished in double figures by scoring a career-high 11 points, the second time in three games she scored 10 or more, and eight rebounds in a game the host Bobcats won by an 81-60 score.
Cal Maritime's next four games, starting with its January 28 (6:30 p.m. tip) event against Pacific Union, will all take place inside PEAC Main Gym. When they return to action, the Keelhaulers will enter that rivalry matchup with a 1-15 overall and 1-11 league record.
UC Merced will continue its season with records of 7-10 and 7-5.
Also visiting Vallejo throughout the upcoming weeks are Embry-Riddle (Feb. 2), Benedictine Mesa (Feb. 3) and Park Gilbert (Feb. 5). All three of those games against Arizona-based opposition will begin at 5:30 p.m.
