VALLEJO, Calif. – Anika Carey finished with a team-high 13 points, Aysia Santos and Alicia Porter each added 10 to lead the Keelhaulers in scoring against Oregon Tech in Saturday's home opener at PEAC Main Gym.
Remaining within striking distance following the first quarter, the visiting Owls out-scored the Keelhaulers, 23-12, throughout the next 10 minutes of action to pull away and eventually earn a 78-46 victory versus Cal Maritime.
Of the Keelhaulers' 16 baskets, seven were earned from three.
Cal Maritime will continue its season-long five-game homestand on Wednesday against Lincoln (CA) in a 2 p.m. midday matchup that is free to attend for all basketball fans.
Women's basketball will return to PEAC Main Gym with a 0-2 record, Oregon Tech will now return home following its two-game Northern California road trip at 5-0.
