VALLEJO, Calif. - The Cal Maritime women's soccer team suffered a 5-0 defeat at the hands of Simpson in the first leg of its two-game California Pacific Conference (Cal Pac) weekend slate.
Nat Pierotti registered a shot on goal and Keelhauler goalkeeper Maddy Dack made 18 saves in the effort as Cal Maritime moved to 0-8-1 overall and 0-4-1 in conference play. Dack's 18 saves were her second-highest total of the season (30 at UC Merced, Oct. 22).
Red Hawk striker Zyree Raban scored twice as Simpson improved to 7-4-2 overall and 6-1-1 in Cal Pac play.
The Keelhaulers continue Cal Pac play this weekend against Pacific Union on Sunday, Oct. 31. Kickoff in Angwin is set for 3:30pm.
Cal Maritime's home finale is scheduled for Sunday, November 7 against UC Merced.
