2023: CALIFORNIA PACIFIC CONFERENCE ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM... CALIFORNIA PACIFIC CONFERENCE CHAMPION OF CHARACTER... Competed in every meet throughout the season... Started the season by finishing 19th (27:06.2) at the Jessup Invitational (9/23)... Competing in a field primarily comprised by Division I and II talent, Sharma ran a 30:47.0 and finished 134th at the SF State Invite... Ended the season by placing 40th at the Cal Pac Conference Women’s Cross Country Championship (10/30) with a time of 31:14.40.

Personal: Majoring in international business and logistics... 2020 graduate of Troy High School ... Offensive MVP (2018), Troy High Scholar Athlete... Also played softball, soccer and tennis... Played club for Fullerton Ragners, OC Rhythm and Cal A's... Chose Cal Maritime because the uniform makes her feel part of something bigger than herself... Favorite aspect as a cadet-athlete is the team taking care of one another by helping with classwork, uniforms and sometimes, hair... Relatives Karen Sharma (swimmer at Texas A&M) and Ravi Sharma (U.S. Navy diver) competed collegiately... Plans to commission as a 2nd LT in the USMC after graduation and pursue a career in port systems in Hawai'i... Involved with ROTC on campus...
