VALLEJO, Calif. – The last game of four straight played on the road will take place on Friday when Cal Maritime begins its weekend schedule at UC Merced with a 5 p.m. matchup against the Bobcats. Once the Keelhaulers return home, they will play a game on their home turf for the first time since October 7 in Sunday's series finale vs. Sierra Nevada.

Kickoff against the Eagles is slated for 11 a.m.

Coming off consecutive road losses to Embry-Riddle and Benedictine University, a home-heavy end to the regular season will start with Friday's game against the Keelhaulers. Following another home game, scheduled for October 29 against Sierra Nevada, the Bobcats will visit Simpson (Oct. 31), and host Pacific Union in their November 5 home finale before wrapping-up the regular season in Vallejo on November 7.

Cal Maritime will face a balanced schedule for the rest of the year, once it returns home from Merced, with three games taking place at Bodnar Field and another three on the road.

Senior forward Jenn Salinger leads the Bobcats' offense with 10 goals, nearly half of the team's total of 22 and a twice as many as her second-ranked teammate, junior forward Jocelyn Garcia, who has five.

Sophomore Veronica Vazquez will most likely protect UC Merced's goal since she competed in all 11 games played and collected 38 saves throughout the season.

After dropping its road game at Sierra Nevada earlier this season, the Keelhaulers will seek a season split when the Eagles visit Bodnar Field for Sunday's league matchup.

Since recording a victory versus Cal Maritime on October 8 — the first game of Cal Maritime's current, and longest road swing of the season — a scoreless draw at Park University was sandwiched between a home loss to Simpson and another road game at Embry-Riddle.

Sierra Nevada will host Pacific Union in its final home game of the season before ending the year with five in a row on the road, starting with Sunday's game at Cal Maritime.
